windscreen troubles advice req.

hello there, any helpwould be greatly appreciated.

I had a windscreen replaced at the start of december by an rac mobile van, after putting the window in the fitter had problems fixing the plastic trim along bottom of the window on the outside, and ended up glueing it down instead of clipping it, he said it was because the window was slightly low and covering up the clips on the driver side, and if the glue didn't keep the trim down then they would need to replace the window. Needless to say the glue didn't keep the trim/weathershield/plastic bit. down and so I took it back into the rac garage a few days later and was told to leave it with them, collected it later that day and was surprised to be told the window was fine and the trim fixed, (considering the initial fitter had tried to fix it for 45 mins whilst I was watching and said there was no way it would go without stressing the window.) Any how it all looked ok from what I could see until a few days ago 2 cracks have appeared from under the plastic trim, starting from under the protective plastic trim.
So i am wondering what is the next step, Because if I go by what the fitter said who seemed to know what he was talking about, then it would appear that the window was damaged during the movement of it once the glue has set, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is it likely that the damaged occured while they moved the window around once it was already set, or what else could have made the cracks considering the wiper (to a certain extent) and the plastic trim are both over where the origin of the cracks are???? many thanks in advance for any help

If the original repair, and the 'making good', done by the same company, then just take it back. It is down to them to carry out a proper repair.

    Who carried out the repair/Replacement?
If you carry out a DSAR and request the pre and post video's completed by the installer you may get an idea of how or when the damage to the trim occurred?

The odds are the damage was started at the garage while they were adjusting the clips.
As said above, take it back asking them to fix it, and no cracks.
