Hi to everyone

Hope somebody can help me with this problem
I live on a street, where there are only 3 houses and a public house, the street is cobbled and is only wide enough to get 1 vehicle down there is only one way in to get to the street, its a cul-de-sac, so nobody can park their cars on the street (even if we wanted to) all 3 residents have an agreement with the landlord of the pub to park on his car park
The problem is somebody has started parking at the entrance to the street (we think maybe a shop owner) i had a delivery of furniture the other day but, the driver could not get to our house, so had to make arrangements for another delivery, which was very frustrating, i contacted the police with the cars details and the problem, but got told off handed that they where in the right to park there as there is no yellow lines, and would have to live with this
Surely this car is causing an obstuction
Would be grateful if anyone can help

Sounds like a typical case of obstructive parking. The next time it happens, inform the Police that you are going to move the car yourself by breaking a window and releasing the handbrake. See how fast they move then. Worked for me when I lived in a house with rear access.
