306 needs to have new fanbelt put on, it has PAS, Aircon, pulley's, can't work out how to put belt on, ie which side of pulley's and tensioner's it need's to go round, haynes manual only shows cambelt, is fanbelt same diagram would be appreciated,:confused: :D :eek:

306 LX DTurbo 1905cc 24.2.1999, one of your chaps put a new one on a year ago, just had cambelt changed, and mechanic can't work out which way it goes on pulley's and tensioners, even RAC chap had to ring in to his office to find out how it went on,

Mr Sussex Patrol, Solved my 306 1999, Aux belt problem, found it in another Haynes manuel believe it or not, Manuel was Peugeot 405 Diesel (88 - 97) E to P, even showed diagram in detail, most useful object 3ft bar, to assist tensioner as per instructions in Manuel,:D It actually showed diagram with Air Con and PAS pulley,s, which made it a lot easier, where did I find book??, on my mechanic mates shelf with other manuel's, he uses to repair car's, great result, so make sure you have both of these when you get called out to do one, :p :) :D Bob

Good god!! You actually found a haynes manaul useful?? Only use I ever seem to find for the newer haynes manuals is as starter fuel for my fire.
