The other day I was shopping online looking for a birthday present (never thought my toddler would end up having such a flourishing social life at nursery, but here we are 😅), when I spotted something that genuinely made me laugh and felt very worth sharing here:

Around 40yrs ago, a friend bought an electric Jeep for his son that ran off a 12V car battery. It was a bit of a pain having to take the battery out to charge, so we wired in a cigarette lighter socket under a flap. We fitted the plug into a piece of plastic pipe and ran the wires through a piece of flexible plastic pipe. The whole thing as glued together, and the son could fill his car with electric the same way Daddy filled his car with petrol.
