The government has extended it's home Electric Vehicle (EV) charger grant, originally introduced in 2023, until 2027, also increasing the maximum support available from £350 to £500.

For those of you considering switching to an Electric Vehicle, does this help sway you towards going for it?

I don't agree with tax-payers money being used to finance other's choices of vehicle purchase.
As to making an EV more attractive to me, this sort of bribery has an adverse effect on me.
