I've used RAC for breakdown cover since my first car ~20 years ago. Always had really good service and can't complain.
However, after reporting a breakdown at home yesterday at approx 11am, I am still waiting for someone to call out - latest time given is 9pm tonight though they are looking into it since I have complained and said that's unacceptable.
Are these sort of delays and wait times common for RAC these days? It's been a few years since I've had a call out but if it is common practice I will need to seek better breakdown coverage. Appreciate I am at home and not at the roadside, but I've paid extra for at home cover and it defeats the purpose of paying extra if it takes so long for someone to get to you at home.
