Freelance mechanics (barrow in furness)
Agreed to fix car next day whilst on holiday there so booked in, they dodnt look at the car till 3 days later (have text confirming booked in) thrn they kept changing what was wrong and said wrong parts had been delivered.
Ended up.speaking to cab, during g this he said not fixing your car will.put it back together and put it outside.
we went to collect some stuff (hired a van) to find our car in a shared open car park unlocked with our pwrsonal possesions on view.
rac initially wanted £1200 to tow it back.
spoke to various people and a lyndswy yesterday who agreed to recover it home, then a tom who called back to check some details, only to get a call 3hrs later saying the job had been cancelled, asked why said its chargable let me transfer you ....cut off.....then had breakdown trying to transfer me and kept getting cut off or transferred back to the same people.
spoke to customer care ....well.didnt it was someone jusg taking details...wait up to 8 wks for a reply, car has to be moved in 4wks or get charged ....apparently that my choice .....how am I supposed to move it it doesnt drive ....apologies you have tonwait uo to 8 weeks.
This is also a disabled adapted vehicle for my partner.
Any ideas what I can do to resolve this as its been 6wks already and only just been escalated to this customer care team. I asked for the external complaints resoolution details but she refused to give this.
