Hope someone can help, I have RAC tyre insurance on my breakdown cover but to cut a long story short a patrol person came out and temporarily repaired my tyre and said the tyre needed replacing but couldn’t sort it on his tablet as the system was down so he gave me a RAC Claim Authorisation Card which no garage wanted to touch, so I replaced the tyre myself tried phoning RAC complaints and getting nowhere and being fobbed off.
why do I pay for something for a service that I can’t use! Considering moving to AA

@Lily, no unfortunately no reply yet. I'm considering swopping over to a different service because no one seems interested but I'm still out of pocket and at this time of year straight after Xmas as well doesn't help matters
