Do your cats have some sort of sixth sense?
Cats Again

We have a neighbour's cat that visits on a regular basis. He usually sprawls across a settee. Thing is, every time I turn my computer off, he appears and asks to go home. I turn it off any time from 5pm, and even when he is fast asleep, (he could snore for England!), but he is always there ready to go.

@Rolebama Glad to see the cat distribution system is alive and well! That cat has chosen you to be his emotional support human.
I think cats are kind of magical, because my cat (a tuxedo one) always knew when I needed a cuddle after a bad day at work or at uni, as soon as I got home.Lily

My granddad's neighbour had a cat, it used to very tentatively visit him most days for quite a few years. He'd pop his head into the kitchen and a bit later would come into the kitchen for some scraps of chicken or ham or whatever. He'd never go further into the house than that, though.
One day when my granddad was quite unwell the cat came in like normal, and walked straight through the house, even up the stairs, as confidently as if it was his house, into my granddad's room, and sat on his bed! Sadly my granddad died during the same night but the cat had never done that before or since -
Over the years I have heard many anecdotes about cats and the guy with the scythe. Too many disconnected ones, so I personally do believe there is an affinity between them.

I imagine they may well @Rolebama as I think they can sense their own death as they tend to wander off and not come back - I guess evolutionary?
