Motoring Christmas Presents.

Well, did any of you get any Motoring type Christmas Present this year?

I never, as I already have a heap of car accessories, but I did get a Cassette to Mp3 gismo, which means I can now transfer all my old cassette music onto my computer then onto a disc, to play in the car:cool:

I also got a Pen Camera, with the smallest camera you will ever see!

I recorded the G/Kids opening their presents, and the quality of picture and sound was just amazing!

All that from a pen size camera;)

I have it on good authority that next year, the in vogue motoring gift will be fuel vouchers, well, among the very rich anyway.

Aye! they could end up being just like mobile phone top up cards, and store vouchers;)

They could start off with £10 ones, for 1 Gallon ones, up to £100 ones for full tanks;)

I suppose you mean because petrol/diesel will have values comparable to bullion and gemstones?
Will that be followed by vehicle accessories like security fuel tanks from the safe makers, and special fuel insurance schemes?
Could bring a whole new meaning to police advice not to leave valuables in the car. Will there be a day when the fuel tank is designed to simulate a luggage-case and be "unpluggable", and we will all be walking around with them whenever we leave the car?
In addition to cloakrooms and safes, hotels could have 'security fuel tank rooms' where guests leave their tanks for safe custody!!!:D

Oil hit a 26 month high today and no increase in output planned.

In Bolivia petrol and diesel are going up by more than 70%.

    January 1st, V.A.T. goes up.

    Happy days.

I once gave a friend a dashboard buddy that nods along with bumps—simple, silly, but it made them laugh every time they drove. Sometimes the little things are the best.

I once gave my brother a digital frame loaded with photos from our road trips and his car rebuild projects. He loved it more than the more typical tools I’d normally get him. You can update the photos remotely too, which is great if you want to add new shots from recent drives or races without needing to bug him for the frame.

My daughter bought a family friend a SatNag a couple of years back. He still plays with it.
