Let's start with the password reset: Click on “Forgot your password?” on the
log in page and enter the email address you used to register your account. Follow the steps and a link will be sent to your email to reset your password.
That should do the magic!
Now, great question about the app. 🤔
In myRAC, the breakdown section usually shows what’s on the
breakdown membership linked to the account you’re logged into. If you and your spouse each have
separate RAC breakdown cover/memberships, you’ll generally only see the breakdown cover details for the policy that belongs to that login.
Try this:
- Log into the app with Policy A’s account (your email/login) and check the breakdown section there.
- Then log out and log in with Policy B’s account (your spouse’s login) and check the breakdown section there.
See whether you can add or edit vehicles listed on that breakdown membership. But since the policies are separate, you may find each login only shows its own breakdown cover. Let me know if it works.
If you want both cars visible under Breakdown Cover in one place
You’ll likely need the cover set up so both vehicles are on
one breakdown arrangement, e.g.
multi-car breakdown cover (you can cover up to 3 vehicles on one policy).
If you’d like to combine/adjust cover, I recommend calling my colleagues at
0330 159 1111 for cover changes.
