I broke down this evening with a runaway engine- smoke everywhere. Luckily a van driver behind me knew what was happening and jumped in and stalled the vehicle causing the engine to stop.
I reported the breakdown using the online tool at 5.40. At 20.31 am still waiting. The app initially showed attendance between 7.40 and 9.40.
Then it jumped to 10.00pm to midnight. Then jumped to 11-2.00am.
I called them and was told it would be with me by 20.30. After the online time changed to 11am, I called them again. I was told it wasn’t showing anymore. The gentleman was polite but explained he’s not on dispatch. He told them they would call me asap.
Told them I am not in a great location. Not sure what I am paying for..They are clearly short staffed. All I need is a tow home or recovery.
I have a surprised immune system and asthma. But they seem not to care.
