Night Sky

Back in the 80s, I began to take an interest in astronomy. I bought a decent telescope and set it up in the garden. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before light pollution rendered it pretty much useless. Mainly, I am sure, because of sodium street lamps. Well, over the last few years they have gradually been replaced with LEDs, to such an extent that at 5.10 this morning I went to go out in the car, and for the first time in over 40yrs saw Orion, in its entirety, with my naked eyes.
