Hi there @
markjfoster16, good question! The
“No.” field on an IDP (1968) is normally where the permit’s
unique issue number goes. It’s usually filled in at the point of issue (for example, when you get it from the Post Office).
If yours has been left blank, it might not have been completed properly when it was issued. The best thing to do is:
-Check the official GOV.UK page on IDPs here:
Get an International Driving Permit (GOV.UK)
-Pop back to the Post Office branch where you got it and ask them to confirm whether the number should have been filled in, and if necessary, they can -put it right or reissue the permit.
So in short: yes, that field should normally have something in it, and the Post Office are the people who can sort it out for you.
Let us know how it goes!
