Traffic light camera

    Hello ,

I was travelling on the a650 in bradford where there's a traffic light camera , the road was wet due to it raining I had seen the light had changed to amber as I was approaching the lights . I put my foot on the brake but the car stopped on the white line or just after and stopped on Amber.

While the camera was on red I reversed back just a little where then I could see the whole lights and the vheicle side of me had wheels on the line.

I know there's sensors as can see on the maps.

I've had my licence 6 week and worried sick, luckily I have videos which clearly shows I stopped on amber and reversed bk two seconds.

Do I need to worry about this incedent

An offence was committed if any part of your vehicle crossed the line on amber, but is seldom prosecuted. . In any event, the camera would not have been triggered until the lights turned red, so you have nothing to worry about.

Even on red the likely outcome would be a course, or at worst three points and a £100 penalty. Not quite the crime of the century.
