Call received from unknown caller regarding April 2025 Car Accident

I received a missed call from an unknown number, and the caller later left a voicemail providing his contact information. In the message, he mentioned an incident/accident involving my car and his, and asked me to call him back.

The incident he referred to happened in April this year. While trying to park in a parking lot, my car bumper lightly touched his vehicle. I provided my insurance details at the scene and also informed my insurance company immediately.

In July 2025, my car developed mechanical issues and was declared a total loss. I had it wrapped up, and as a result, my insurance policy was cancelled. I currently do not have a car in use.

Now, the caller is reaching out regarding the April incident, requesting that I call him back, otherwise he will contact the insurance company.

What should I do in this situation?

Advise the insurers you had at the time of the incident, I would not reply myself to the phone call.
The insurers may want to hear the message left on your phone or they may ask you for a copy.

Don't reply, just let him contact your insurers. They already know about the incident, and they will deal with it - that's what you paid them for.
