I have filled in all my details, got 4 green ticks but the continue button remains inactive. I have reinstalled, restarted the phone etc but no success.

I am suffering from this same ridiculous problem as well.

On my iPhone SE (3rd gen) it is just possible to briefly reveal a required 'Date of Birth' field that is lurking behind the 'Continue' button by scrolling up the form but it is impossible to select that field and thus to enter data into it because the form immediately scrolls down behind the 'Continue' button again before one has a chance to select it for data entry.

My phone and the iOS operating system are hardly quirky edge cases.

Doesn't anybody ever test these apps properly before they are released into the wild????

And, MORE IMPORTANTLY, why does the RAC (and just about every other large organisation these days DELIBERATELY make it impossible to reach any kind of sensible support person without first fighting through endless barriers such as so-called 'chatbots' and the whole of the rest of the anti-customer measures that they seem to think it as appropriate to deploy???!
