We love a good EV discussion here in the forum! Like this great post by @Drivingforfun or this one about EV-only cities.

So, I thought I’d share something quite interesting: Zoopla and Vauxhall have teamed up so you can now search for homes with charging access and see nearby on-street chargers.

Why it matters:

- EV registrations are up 34% this year
- Only 1.6% of listings mention EV charging
- 84% of EV drivers say a lack of charging would stop them moving

With the 2030 petrol/diesel ban on the horizon, this could be a real game-changer for house-hunting. Here in the Community we’ve discussed before how UK architecture can make charging a challenge, so it's nice to see something is being done to tackle the issue.

Without wanting to point out the obvious it's not the fact the charger is installed but the fact there's a driveway to park the car on in the first place - an installation costs what, a grand, when crunching the numbers that come up when moving house it shouldn't make a difference

I guess it's useful in some niches like if your budget only allows for terraced house or flat and you need to know if there's access to communal charging?
