📸 Snap & Drive: Your Best Road Trip Photos

Have you ever been on the road and seen something so cool, strange, or downright beautiful you just had to pull over (or snap a quick pic when parked)? This thread is for those moments.

Share a photo from your travels – maybe it’s your dashboard with the mountains ahead, a weird sculpture off the motorway, a foggy morning tunnel, or a terrifying hairpin bend. Anything that made you think: "I need to capture this."

🛞 Just a few simple guidelines:

• Only post photos taken safely: no snapping while driving! (It should go without saying, but better safe than sorry.)

I took this one on a trip to Dorset, Summer 2022 I think. We were coming back from Studland Beach and got stuck in traffic. We were there for quite a while but at one point I thought "well, that's quite the view".

It's Corfe Castle by the way! Before I forget to mention it.

It won't mean much unless you know the road, but this is the M25 near Heathrow, usually it's standstill traffic

@Drivingforfun how come I didn't see this pic before? Must have been a busy day in the Forum.

I have a cousin who lives in Staines whose husband works at Heathrow, it brings back memories from when I used to live with her before moving to the Midlands, exactly 10 years ago this October. Time to pay her a visit!

I remember the eerie feeling of going anywhere during lockdown and feeling so lonely. No traffic though, that was nice.
