Have you visited one yet?

I stopped by the one in Gloucester recently (I know, I know... I’ve mentioned it a lot 😅). But in my defence, it did win the prize for Second Best EV Hub in Europe!

Some say EV hubs are the future of road travel, others just want to fill up and get moving.

I think I'd like the experience if I was doing it for work...

My dad works in property maintenance and he's been dreading being moved to an electric van as he does >250 miles some days. Lots of his colleagues have been moved over to vans with ranges of around 150 miles. He has changed his opinion, because his colleagues now get spend around a third to half of their working day at service stations, drinking coffee and reading - waiting for their vans to charge up 😂

Generally speaking I don't like to stop on a journey. So to me, being forced to stop to charge a battery, is yet another reason to not get an EV.
FWIW: I have Family in Dorset, Chester, Sussex Coast and friends North Wales*. So without a guaranteed range of at least 600 miles, they are of absolutely no use to me.
*I do, occasionally drive between them, staying overnight sometimes.
