Advice please - blind left turn after a hill!

After some advice, please! On my way home from work, there’s a left turn that I have to make at a T junction to get onto a country road that has a 60mph speed limit. The left turn is blind because you can’t see cars coming from the right as it’s just after cars are cresting a hill. I find it so stressful as I look right, I see no cars, so begin to make my turn, and then suddenly a car is right up my bum, and I have to accelerate quickly to try and pull away. I try and go to the farthest left point I can before making the turn, but I don’t know what else to do in this situation. Any advice??
    Thanks a lot!

I can't see that you can do anything other than what you already are. It may be worth getting on to your local council to get a mirror set up so you can see, and/or some relevant signage or road markings on the road you are turning into.

We know what someone sensible would do in the other driver's situation: drive at a speed whereby you're able to stop within the bit of road you can see ahead

I'd say not much you can do, other than know if it's clear when you pull out you're good. If someone gets the hump because you can't see through the surface of the earth, it's obvious who the silly one is 🤪

Yes driving over a blind hill at full speed is stupid but that do's not help you.

Caught with this problem, I would make the left turn staying tight to the left, and accelerate as hard as the car can to get up to speed but this is hard on you, the car, and the tyres.

A better option would be to find another route to work and avoid that junction.
An extra mile is better than being wiped out!
