I own a 2021 top spec Mazda 3 (GT sport tech) with adaptive headlights.
I've read the user manual but it doesn't say anything about driving in Europe, nor does it have any settings in the car's infotainment system to change the direction of the beam.

Does anyone know if I need to buy the deflector stickers for my car or if it would automatically recognise I'm in Europe through GPS?

I think the headlights are set at switch on, see first sentence on page from Mazda handbook;
