
It's also becoming increasingly frustrated with the number of different apps that have been introduced in recent years to facilitate payment at car parks around the country. A spot poll around our company saw people with anything from 3 to 7 different apps they need for parking at various places in their lives.
The government are collaborating with some of these companies on the"National Parking Platform" which will hopefully ensure that drivers can use a preferred app in all car parks they park in.
The RAC pointed out that key will be ensuring that as many car park operators as possible sign up to the platform.
