i am a resident in UK since with EU driving licence. As said on UK gov website I can drive till my driving licence is valid and I don’t have to exchange it.

You're right — if you’re a UK resident with an EU driving licence, you can continue driving in the UK as long as your licence remains valid. Just make sure to keep it up to date and carry it while driving.
