I broke down on the A30 Midlands to Cornwall a few weeks ago, and was asked by the RAC driver to make my way, with her following, to a nearby services to wait safely for the tow company. I did this tentatively, and she left. The wait for a local company was from around 1am until 5am, and I have incurred a parking charge from Horizon. I have appealed and uploaded screen shots of my text updates which were timed and dated, but of course this is not enough. I am unable to upload the breakdown report onto their appeals page as it is accessed via a link only. How do I appeal this, and also complain to the RAC. I was coming back from a funeral, and the breakdown was enough on top, without the greedy parking vultures wanting money through no fault of my own. Any help gratefully appreciated.
