RAC closed my recovery.

My car broke down last week and the RAC came out the following day as the breakdown was on my drive.

on arriving RAC concluded the car would need to go to the dealer and a HIAB lorry would be required, the earliest appointment was for 29th April, so I called the car manufacturer as the car is under warranty and RAC is provided by them, they contacted other dealers and found one that would accept the car now so it’s not sitting on my drive although can’t see it till similar time.

manufacturer then contacted RAC to arrange the recovery, the first one was an RAC driver and he apologised saying he just read the notes when he arrived and he could not recover with his truck.

next day another recovery company arrived with the wrong truck, they stated RAC never told them a HIAB is needed and they would need to contact them and get back to me, or he could drag the car on to his truck would would damage my drive and likely the car as the wheels are locked so I declined. He said I would hear back.

after not hearing anything for couple of days, I just called the RAC, this is the first time I have spoken to them on the phone, was booked online and got messages via text.

i was told my recovery was closed and they will not deal with me as I was abusive to an adviser over the phone, what, what? This was the first time I have spoken to anyone on the phone and was always very polite and friendly to the 3 people that came to my house, have it all on CCTV with clear audio recording.

the person I spoke to was very unhelpful, just saying there nothing they are willing to do and I can’t even speak to a supervisor or manager.

how can they cancel my recovery saying I was abusive having never spoke to them.
