I have an old cast die for an antique RAC badge. Is this of any use to anyone.

    I am sorting out my father's shed and have an old badge die cast that may be of interest to someone. I believe he may have made it when he was in the toolmaker industry

    @Kevlim

    Very sorry for the late reply, I read this and then closed the page to reply later but then forgot to go back to it, I'd marked it as "read" so it didn't come up 🙁

    I know a few people who are into classic cars, and who remember the days when the old badges were issued and think certain people generally are interested in stuff like that

    Were you looking to realise money from it or just give it to someone who wants it?? I don't think they are super rare (we have an AA one in our shed, perhaps the RAC ones are rarer??) but regardless I'd advise against going to an antique/knickknack shop or such thing because they tend to give you well under 20 pence in pound for stuff as they have to make quite big margins

    Alternatively I imagine there would be enthusiasts would be quite happy to take it, and put it on their classic car etc., if that's what you were planning
