Dont know the right place to ask or who to call, But does any one know what the RAC looks like on a bank statement? Ive got 2 x £7.50 charges tonight from "RAC" with 9 digit number followed by GB

I to have monthly charges with racinsurance as the reference but have no policies with them. Phoned all the numbers in there contact us page but no help. Logged a complaint and said be in touch in max of 8 weeks. That was over 8 weeks ago and no contact. Did you find a number / way to get it resolved and refunded?? -
Same issue no help from any of the contact numbers and no reply after loging a complaint. Dis you find a way to resolve?

I have had a payment come out of my bank from RAC and I don't even have a contract with them, What is going on? I have informed my bank that this is a fraudulent transaction to get my money back

@Lily I have logged a complaint through this site, This needs to go up further as if people are being charged by RAC without there knowledge this could be a serious issue, I tried getting in touch with your customer services and nobody seems to care, I have informed my bank that this is a fraudulent transaction so hopefully they can get a better response,

From what you’ve described, charges like this are often linked to third-party fraud rather the RAC, particularly if you don’t have an account with us. That said, we’d like to check our records to be sure and give you a clear answer based on what we find.
