I put a deposit on a car at Motor city trade centre on 3rd Feb 2025, for an 2004 Nissan Elegrand. Mark (dealer) said it would be ready to collect on Fri/Sat. He told me previous owner had fitted discs all round. He then had bushes fitted by a mobile mechanic.
He said it would then be tested on Fri. Then rang me on Sat morning as it had a footbrake issue, he got that sorted an then rang later to say it had failed Mot at Miles Auto in Hengoed, as vehicle was fitted with leds an tester couldnt pass it. They need to be standard bulbs, apparently. Now hes saying he will get the correct bulbs an have it retested at Miles Auto on Monday.
The situation Im in is: The company has £500 of my money, have failed to deliver said vehicle as promised.
Where do I go from here.
Needs to have a valid MOT to drive it on the rd.
