Not a car, but just after passing bike test.
I decided to go for a ride the night I passed. I was approaching a main road with a red light intending to turn right. Directly opposite the junction was a cafe, and I saw a parked Police car, so I was determined to do everything right. I indicated and pulled across into the right turn lane, and stopped at the line. I checked both directions, nothing coming, so I pulled away. The Police car immediately pulled out after me and stopped me a little way down. They asked me if I really thought it was a good idea to jump the lights in front of them, when I had so obviously seen them. I told them that the sight of them had put me off, and that it was their fault. They were smiling the entire time and one of them, who obviously knew bikes (I was on a 650cc BSA), asked me when I had passed my test. I told him that it had just been a few hours ago, at which point they both laughed and told me to clear off.
I have never jumped a red light since.
