Hello after servicing my car i noticed an intermittent petrol smell inside the cabin, mechanic dosent think anything is wrong so i was wondering could anyone shed any light on this issue.
Hello,
It's concerning to smell petrol inside your car cabin. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:
- Check the Fuel Cap: Ensure it's tight and not damaged.
- Inspect for Leaks: Look for any signs of fuel leaks around the fuel tank or lines.
- Spark Plugs: Loose or faulty spark plugs can cause fuel odors.
- Fuel Injectors: Check for leaks in the fuel injectors.
If the issue persists, it's best to have a mechanic take a closer look. Stay safe!
Best regards,
Peter Philip
