Tried them once. Did nothing for me and I have yet to find anyone else that has found them to be of any benefit -
Sorry for the slight off-topic question but I was talking with someone recently who used to work for the fraud office - specifically benefit fraud. She said she did some advanced driving and was taught to drive in the darkness in the countryside with no lights on so as to follow someone and avoid detection... they'd use night vision goggles. Is this something anyone's ever heard of? I'd never heard of any driving with no lights, but it does make some sense to me that it'd be useful...

I have a pair of glesses with anti-glare coating. They work to a degree, but are useless against malaligned LED headlamps.

Sorry, but total rubbish. Even as Police surveillance trained and qualified drivers and riders that is not something that is taught let alone for a straightforward advanced qualification or training
Someone has pulling her/your leg and I have been involved in advanced training and examining for 45 + years. -
Thanks!! And no sorry needed, I was suspicious, as I'd never heard of anyone ever driving with no lights, or of it even being legal... expect during the Blitz blackouts! -
Clean your windscreen inside and out.
Like others have said, I have never found anything that helped after many years of driving. -
thank you for your reply. I have cleaned the windscreen well and seen an optician. The problem doesn't seem to be being unable to see but rather the mis aligned headlights of others. I -
Thinking back to when I first started driving, I commented about approaching vehicle lights at night to an experienced driver, his response was, "don't look at them then".
He then went on to explain, there is a tendency to look at oncoming head lights until we learn not to or someone advises us.
It worked!
So perhaps, because it troubles you, you may be looking at them?
