A few weeks ago, I was getting all excited about the new McLaren W1 (the successor to the P1), I guess I should have expected that Ferrari wouldn't want to be outdone.

The Ferrari F80 (the successor the the LaFerrari) boasts an almighty 1183bhp. It'll reach 62mph in only 2.15 seconds and is limited to a mind altering 217mph.

At £3.1m, I don't expect to see many driving down the high street, but the design is reminiscent of the posters that young motoring enthusiasts may have once had on their bedroom walls.

After admiring this Italian beast, I can't help but glance over at Porsche and wonder what they may bring to the table.

When it comes to silly supercars I’m always keen to see what Lambo does. They just seem totally outrageous, dare I say it even pointless, but if you’re going to do a daft car you might as well follow it through all the way

My bedroom 'wall of lust' consisted of a Lambo Miura, Kawasaki H2 and Jane Fonda. In that order. I wrote to Lambo and Kawasaki, so they sent me rather large posters, and I got a full-size movie poster of Jane Fonda in Barbarella from Pinewood Studio.
