The posts in each thread appear to be mixed up.

I think they were in chronological order, oldest first, the last time I looked, today they appear to be random.

Is anyone else seeing this?

It is also putting replies with quotes before the quoted post.

I haven't noticed this, but I'm keeping a close eye on discussions. Are you (or anyone else) still seeing the same thing today?

The problem is still there, your post (Mark 07 yesterday 17/10/2024) is followed by olduser dated 16/10/2024.

Today 18/10/2024

When I first reported the problem I had already tried rebooting but no change, I just thought I am using DudckDuckGo web browser, I will check if that's the source of the problem.

I opened the forum using MS Edge web browser, and everything looked to be in date/time order oldest first.
But after logging in, we reverted to the mixed up order.

DuckDuckgo is eager to remember passwords and fill them in, I usually tell it no thank you but in the forums case I must have forgotten, so I have been using the forum without me logging in.

Anyway, it looks as though logging in is the trigger!

Cool - it seems like a single user issue, but let me progress this.

Based on what you've described, I don't expect it'll resolve things, but I'd also recommend clearing cookies & cache as good practice anyway.

Heads up - I don't expect to have an update this side of the weekend.

I'm assuming the issue is ongoing, are you able to share some screenshots? You may prefer to send these via DM.

Also, are you able to try Google Chrome browser?

So far, we've been unable to replicate the issue, and there haven't been any other reports similar to this.

The problem is still there, your todays post has appeared at the top of the thread.

MS Edge is Google Chrome just renamed.

FWIW I use Mozilla Firefox and I don't have this issue.

I use DuckDuckgo because it resits clandestine collection of data, when I do a Web search in most cases it refuses Cookies automatically.

Anyway, the problem.
I have just stopped DuckDuckgo from filling in the login details.
Viewing the forum not logged in, everything appears to be normal, of course I can only look.
But when I login, the invitation's to contribute show with any topic in any thread showing the posts in what appears to be a random order.

As mentioned in the thread, I had done the same using MS Edge and got the same issue, once I logged in the posts in threads were out of order?
MS Edge is in fact Chrome just renamed.

I am using MS Win 10 Exec version (64bit) which is fully updated.
It is supposed to be able to run 8, 16, 32, or 64 bit software or it reports it cannot run whatever I am trying.
