This Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition has a 4.0l twin turbo V8 ICE, and whilst there are lots of fantastic stats to talk about... just look at it.

It's a little out of my price range though, prices are around £300k.

There's something about Aston Martins, I'd never try to call any car like this discrete but Astons seem to make the least effort to shout about themselves

You're right, they don't have the madness of a Lambo.

Following the release of the Spectre movie, I saw the DB10 they used in the movie. It was an incredibly impressive car, both beautiful and sophisticated.

My Dad is not really a car person at all, and he's also into the simpler things; he has said if he ever won the lottery he'd still go into Tesco in the evening when the bread is being sold off cheap, but the one thing he'd treat himself to is an Aston Martin! 😛

I came across my old Goldfinger DB5 Corgi a while back and was showing it to my grandson. He looked at it with a very studious expression on his face and asked me: "So what is it?" Nostalgia is wasted on the young!😐

I have a vague memory of playing with a toy DB5 as a young child, it even had the ejector seat. I wonder if it was a Corgi.

My granddad bought me a new model car each time I visited, I recently found them as I was having a tidy out and noticed that the ones I liked best weren't necessarily the ones that were "good" in real life! I think my favourites were a convertible Audi TT and a 2 door BMW coupe 😛 the supercars weren't so heavily played with

Mine had the ejector seat complete with launchable baddie, bulletproof shield behind rear window, machine guns at the front and rotating front and rear number plates. It didn't have the oil spray, so I used a can of 3-in-1 which I remember my younger brother used on the front room carpet - but only once!
