Your worst experience as a passenger?

I've been driven down a steep mountainside abroad from a remote restaurant with a driver who was to say the least over the drink drive limit, which was quite frightening
I've also been driven at night in a car with non-functioning headlights, which was interesting as well, as the driver compensated by using their full beams but had to keep switching them off when other drivers approached -
Does it have to be in a car? There used to be a road local to where I lived which had a very sharp bend at the end.* There was a bridge over a river on the bend. A crowd of us decided to ride to a particular woods for something to do. Myself and my brother were invited to ride in a mate's sidecar. So off we went speeding down this road. At the last minute the rider hit the brakes hard for the bend, the body of the sidecar, with us in it, parted company from the frame**, and we were launched into the river. The lid of the sidecar was secured with over-centre clips from the outside. Needless to say we both survived, but were not impressed.
*It's been re-sculpted now because of M25 construction.
**The body of the sidecar was suspended from the frame with leather straps which were obviously past their best.
