Hello all... I looked inside my bonnet, there is liquid spray (looks like oil) leaking near the side of the engine, I think it leaking from this black hole which I pointed with a yellow arrow (click here to see photo) Anyone knows what this black hole is? Or what the problem may be. It is a Renault Kangoo 2005 1.6V 16V. Thank you.

But as yours had a big hole in it there may be other problems.

Oh, thank you much for the answer, I will order the plug from eBay. Hmmm, why there is such a big hole in the plug, how did this hole appear! Hopefully is just plug weakness due to vehicle age and not something more serious.

As the plug is always in oil rust is out of the question so it's possibly mechanical damage, such as a previous owner trying to pry it out to fix what was then a small oil leak.
