Whatever you love about motoring, the chances are there are events across the UK where petrol heads get together to share their passion and show off their latest projects.

What's your favourite Car show and why?

    Thanks,
    Mark.

Not really an answer to the question, but I think Owners Clubs events are the best. Seems that only real fans attend and usually not a salesman in sight.*
I feel I have to add though that the worst event is The Car Show, by whatever name, is the worst event. The more so since it moved to the NEC, and the entrance fee is a joke. I refuse to pay a company for their advert.
*I don't count insurance company reps as by and large they leave me alone.

I've not really been to enough to be able to compare but I've found that lots of shows which revolve around modern supercars are often not the friendliest, like on the surface people are nice but there's a kind of underlying tone that they are just concerned about comparing the money they have available to spend on their hobby

I find classic cars and American cars are a pretty decent down to earth crowd and I just feel at home there for some reason, even though I don't have a car that "qualifies" me into that crowd I find people just love sharing their cars with others and showing off (in a good way)

The only thing about the muscle car crowd in the UK is you seem to get a lot of what I call transamericans i.e. English people who like to dress up and act like (stereotypical) Americans😂
