Mine is sitting in the sun, reading a good book and knowing all is right in my world. Family all healthy and well, and being aware that I don't have to water the garden, wash the car or do any other of those jobs we have to do, because I did them all yesterday, and today is my own to squander how I see fit.

I don't tend to enjoy squandering time, it makes me feel stale, but similarly to you I don't like having a load of deadlines looming either ... so my perfect day is probably one with no expectations but still stuff to do if I want to - I think "pottering" is the word?! 😂

Pottering is good, I do it as well. The weekly car check, watering hanging baskets, tidy the shed or garage, but sometimes a good squander just recharges the batteries for the next bout.
