Hi.
Could anybody possibly help me with a radio code for a 2014 nissan Micra please?
My wifes car has been laid up for quite a while due to illness and the battery was totally dead. Fitted a new one but the radio is asking for a code which we haven't got.

Part No. 28185 3HN4B
Production date. 13-11-06

The codes are usually unique to each vehicle and are not universal.

May be worth contacting the Nissan importer direct and asking if they can help..

I called the dealer today and they said I had to book it in for them to remove the radio and check some details (that I've already got) which involves removal of part of the dash.
I don't live near a dealer and can't really afford their prices on a pension.

I understand your predicament, but unfortunately just by using someone else's codes is not going to help you. As I said, each unit has a unique number, so you might get 3,000 responses all with different code numbers and the odds on someone giving you the right number are probably nil!

An independent dealer or car electronic expert may be able to help, but there will still be a cost.

Thank you for having a look.
They have a calculator to download but I'm a bit sceptical 😂
I know how to remove the facsia panel now so if there is by any chance any more info on the radio other than whats required I'll have it all ready and hopefully save on dealer labour charges..

I decided to pay for an online code and it worked first time saving on main dealer costs.
Problem I have now is that it ejected a cd already in the unit and displayed 'CD error' which comes up again if I try to insert a different CD. Does anybody know if there's a reset for this too when it's been disconnected for some time?
