Happened 3 times, all when suddenly braking, first for a car which had suddenly stopped in front of me at a roundabout, other two times at sets of traffic lights changing to amber.
It's a 2012 BMW 320i, had just under 3 months, automatic. In those situations, I would brake, but rather than getting me straight to zero, it would get to between 1-5mph, meaning on the two recent ocassions, i actually ran red lights slightly.
Taken the car to the garage, they've identified a stuck rear calipher, brake fluid which needs replacing, new front brakepads and brake discs, they say the wrong type of grease was used on the front brakepads?
Does this seem right, this is all adding up to nearly £550, so i'm just worried if I pay all this and i'm still left with a car which has a dangerous fault.
