Can anyone please help we are stuck In Spain due to the vehicle breaking down that's been taken but a family of 6 we are stuck, the breakdown isn't helping and will only allow an allowance of £125 a day we need to be in calais for the ferry tomorrow but we are 14 hours away we have had to pay for a hotel and have to be out of here soon. We are stuck near a motorway, there's no help whatsoever they said get a taxi to Madrid which is over 2 hours away but they only pay £125 and don't pay anything upfront! We need a hire car to be able to get to calais but they can't find anything. We have the European plus policy which states we are within the limit of their payouts which is up to £3000 to get us home but we are being told otherwise. Once we leave this hotel we are in danger with 4 children under 12 and all the luggage, I don't know what to do as they aren't helping at all and not providing solutions

Hi, thankyou for your reply I appreciate it.

Just so anxious and honestly getting no where with the breakdown cover. We are stranded at milagros it's 2 and half hours away from madrid. No taxis come to this place so can't get that and there is only 2 buses per day which is a 10min walk away, the next one is around 3pm but theres not much else we can do when we get to Madrid we needed to be at calais by 4am tomorrow for our ferry too 😪
