2014 Nissan Micra Elle Auto 56k miles. Recently has “cut out” when driving. No noise, no shuddering…all the dash lights come on, brakes and steering lock and all power lost. I need to use hand break to stop. Once I put in park and restart it works fine. Serviced 2 months ago
any ideas?

Could be anything.
You either buy a scan tool or take it to a garage, all we can do is guess.

I think @NMNeil is right. A garage is probably your best option. It could be an electrical issue, just a sensor, or lots of other things.

If your Nissan Micra cuts out, check the fuel pump, ignition system, throttle body, and battery. Consult a mechanic for proper diagnosis and repair.
