I'm looking for some advice.

I'm going to get a driving experience for my son. He's not old enough to drive, so he'll be a passenger only, I'm looking for your help to choose a car that'll offer the most thrilling (scariest) experience.

There are so many options out there, here are the top choices;

• McLaren Artura (2024)
• Lamborghini Huracan
• Porsche GT3 RS

Which car would blow your socks off?

I think any one of them as it will be up to the driver. (I would go for the McLaren though.
if I was driving.)

0-60 in 2.2 seconds is frighteningly fast!

Not too long ago, I was a passenger in an Audi E-Tron. The acceleration was unbelievable, and yet, that'll take twice as long to reach 60mph.

Is he too young to drive as in just under 17?? Or is he like under 10? There are loads of junior experiences where you only have to be able to reach the pedals

Maybe not top end 2024 supercars but as a 13 year old I think between getting to actually drive a Gallardo or just sitting in a Huracan I'd choose the former!!

He's <13.
I suspect it'll either terrify him, or start a love affair. I might be making a monster 🏎

I think over 10 is the limit usually, but I'm sure there isn't a legal reason for that number and maybe someone would let a younger child drive, provided they are big enough

As far as passenger experiences go though, I had a go in a Lotus at their factory in Norfolk which was good fun but doing a couple of laps afterwards with the pro driving was the highlight for me

That said I think that was because, as a driver, it was good to see what a car can actually do in the right hands... I still maintain that I would have the preference as a child that I'd just want a go!

To be honest, he wouldn't be ready or able to drive a Nissan Micra, let alone a Lambo 😂.

I agree though, to drive a car supercar and truely feel the power, would beat being a passenger.

For some reason I neglected to ask, if he'd ever driven a car at all??

In some ways, I wonder if driving a supercar as your first ever car wouldn't feel overly special, and you'd get just as much fun having a go in a Micra on a private road or something 🤔
