Thanks for reading and responding in advance.

I am on a mission to revolutionise the Car industry and solve the biggest problems customer's face. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know the biggest issues you face(d) with your existing or prior vehicles. This may be mechnical, Sales/Aftersales experience, the general gathering of information or any other aspect?

Further, it would be great to hear if you have a suggestion as to how this issue could be resolved in the future?

I have an indication of what it may be but I wouldn't want this to influence the feedback I have. What are your thoughts?

The last car I had any serious issues with was a 1989 Rover.

The biggest issue facing the industry (rather than the consumer) is the uncertainty over the changeover to electric and/or alternative fuels.

Thanks for your feedback. That's great to hear all of your purchasing, driving and servicing needs have been filled successfully for 35 years.

The current mandate is that 70-80% of new cars need to be Electric by 2030, what is the uncertainty are you finding? What does this mean to you?

Are there any other additional issues people are facing?

Another reason may be a reluctance to take seriously a sweeping statement such as "I am on a mission to revolutionise the Car industry", without at least some indication of the OP's background.

Is he (a) a high-powered executive in the motor industry?, (b) a politician, or maybe even (c) a schoolboy with time on his hands?

FWIW: I think it is a joint effort between governments sticking their oars in and designers.

Start making cars and stop making computers on wheels.
Make a car that has a fuel gauge (petrol or electric), a speedometer and a few warning lights. We don't need it to a be a jukebox or living room entertainment center on wheels and fitted with every useless gadget under the sun which is marketed as a 'feature'
Make cars simple, easy to repair and inexpensive and they will sell.
A classic example of simplicity to give you an idea.

The biggest issue for me is that if you want a fun car and your budget is under £50,000 there are about 4 cars to choose from out of the entire market, but if you want an SUV the choices are so abundant you can be as picky as “this is perfect but I wish the wheels had 7 spokes instead of 6 and there was one more cup holder” and there would be something else, every single niche is filled

This is obviously not an issue to the industry as a whole and if the industry was tailored around driving enthusiasts like me it would probably be worth about one hundredth what it’s currently worth!!

A bit of advice to the auto industry.
Stop doing stuff like this to claw every last penny out of the motorist.
