As you say, NMNeill, C & W is a lot of what we can relate to, even though we don't experience the events. Some tell a story which we feel would be our own reactions, but I think I would have been more inclined to use his own shotgun and scarper.
I do enjoy some C & W, and that one is up there.

If anyone appreciates some Country and Western, I can recommend the TV show 'Nashville'.

It's a US drama, focused around a country singer (Connie Britton)... imagine Grey's Anatomy with more singing.

The song featured in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azCEpoYLxeg is truly remarkable, but what adds an extra layer of amazement for me is the fact that the song is AI-assisted. The country legend faced a stroke in 2013 that resulted in the loss of his voice, making the AI assistance in creating the song even more extraordinary. Now that's a great use of AI for me!
