Hello!

I know this will sound like a silly question to most people however, I’m getting the message that my oil needs replaced, how to do go about changing it?

I know there is something about a dipstick and that’s about as much as I know. I don’t usually keep a car for long enough for it to need the oil changed so I’m hoping someone can help 🙈

You need to book your car into a garage for a service. If the oil needs changing several other things will soon need attention, like filters for example. A garage will also check your tyres to ensure they are legal and properly inflated.

Maintenance is much cheaper in the long run than paying for emergency repairs.
