I had a no damage 10 MPH shunt into the rear of a LWB van, minor damage to front of my daughters Twingo (bent number plate).

I am a named driver on my daughters policy, but I am fully comprehensive on my own policy with PNCB. My daughter does not.

Can I inform my insurers of the incident and not my daughters insurers?

Are you sure your own policy covers you? Comp policies used to provide Driving Other Cars (DOC) cover automatically, but that's no longer the case. If you're not sure, check your certificate.

If you do use that policy, your daughter will still need to notify her own insurer,.

I have noticed more and more insurers only giving third party cover when driving someone else's car.
