Picked up a new used car today from an RAC approved dealer and noticed as part of the RAC approved pre delivery checks they are meant to give me two keys.
On picking up the car today I was told they only had one key and that was that. When I questioned the RAC check I was shown the dealerships pre check list ( not branded RAC) where they said they would provide key/keys.
The salesman said that if they did provide a second key they would make no money on the deal ( no my problem!). He suggested that I activate the free 12 month RAC cover I get with the car and pay extra for key cover and claim via them.
Should I push the dealership further or go straight to the RAC?
