60 second time delay on a forum search :mad: Why has the forum got this it's a right pain...Thank you please :D

There is a 60 second delay on searches to prevent overloading of the server - without this the forum would not be able to cope with multiple search requests.

im a member on another forum with nearly 8000 members it has not got this problem.

This is the way the forum has been set up, and will not be changing. Is there a reason you're running repeated searches?

just looking about being nosey lol But it's annoying if you do a search and nothing comes up due to the word being to common or to short you have to wait another minute...Not the rac cost cutting is it ;)
